Finished the #AdvXJam2024 entry Dust 'N' Rust!
Short fun retro pixelart game with nice voice acting and a good sense of humor.
I did miss the item combination based puzzles and it felt a bit like trial and error, but I still had fun with it.

Fun fact: the idea of making Baron von Protz, the main villain in my #AdvXJam2024 demo entry Temple of the Three Rules, a lover of schweinshaxe came from the game Thimbleweed Park (2017).

I've solved the #AdvXJam2024 entry Ines in: Triple Trouble by @relativelypainlessgames!
Funny short sci-fi story with great graphics and music which gives me 90's adventure game vibes.
The clever puzzle design "ap-eel-ed" to me!
Fun fact about the main villain from my #AdvXJam2024 entry Temple of the Three Rules:
Baron von Protz is based on the German actor Gert Fröbe in his role as Manfred von Holstein from the movie
Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (1965).
The #AdvXJam2024 entry A Crisis of Fae by Sally Beaumont made me laugh the whole time! It was so fun to play and I enjoyed the fabulous voice acting!
Especially the part when Verity learned how sarcasm works is pure joy!
Our #AdvXJam2024 entry is ready!
"Triple Trouble" is a new standalone entry in the Ines & uncle Lee series of #pointAndClick adventures.
Help Ines fix reality (again) after uncle Lee's amazing birthday present idea goes awry.
Finished The Anchorite, an #AdvXJam2024 entry by Beyondbooleans!
I don't want to spoiler too much! I love the powerful story, graphics and music! It's definitely worth playing!
You can play this game in your browser, too.

I spent nearly an entire Saturday animating the side walk of Baron von Protz for my #AdvXJam2024 entry Temple of the Three Rules.
Animating can be time consuming! Thankfully @Duckmadeofwood joined my team and handled the rest.
Day 15 #AdvXJam2024 Update:
I've spent the whole Saturday on working on the demo of Temple of the Three Rules... and I've finished it!
I kept my promise!
I'm still working on the full game, but at least there's no time pressure anymore!

Day 15 #AdvXJam2024:
I'm close to finish the demo game today.
I'm still recovering from my exhausting week.
Releasing a demo for this jam and the full game afterwards was the best decision ever.
Fortunately, I already have the ressources to make the full game.
I'm sure that this room will capture you more than you can imagine...
Day 13 #AdvXJAm2024: I've coded the credits (text only) and the game items with combinations on each other.
I'll continue coding, but my day job slows me down. Jams during a working week are exhausting.
@TheBlackHawk did a new amazing room!
Day 12 #AdvXJam2024 update: Let's move on with coding and adding more assets in AGS.
@TheBlackHawk did an amazing adjustment of my original title screen! He's also adjusting the GUI in the meantime.
Day 12 #AdvXJam2024: There will be a 24h extension of the jam! Thank you so much!
It took me 6 hours yesterday to import 95% of the remaining assets and prepare the objects and views.
Don't get me wrong, I still love AGS, but this engine doesn't support collaborations.
#AdvXJam2024 update: our composer Paolo Cotrone (https://shamisenorchestra.com) is finalising the #soundtrack for the game.
Here's one of the many versions of the game's main theme (it will change dynamically through the game)!
Day 11 #AdvXJam2024 update: I'm already working on the book which is needed to solve the game Temple of the Three Rules.
I will add buttons for the next pages, because I have my doubts that players won't notice the dog-ears.
Day 11 #AdvXJam2024: I started coding. Here's an interesting life hack for every AGS game dev:
You can just write the text and the version number on the screen with the DrawingSurface.
#AdvXJam2024 update: started working on the user interface for a key mechanic in the game which involves a book. Here's a mock-up of the interface. Inventory objects are placeholders, and the author picture is (probably) temporary.
Day 10 #AdvXJam2024: Today I'll stay out of social media. It's too distracting for me and I have to start coding.
Got to go now! Enjoy another moment of my adventure cat Fat Mousy!
