On a personal note, I've spent the week talking to lawyers, and permitting people, and loan officers, and lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my. And my wife has indicated that as good as comedy movies are for brains, she thinks mine might benefit from leaving the house. If I do I'll be watching in spirit.

The mission reminds me of A Christmas Story by H.L. Mencken. My dad kept the book in a box of Christmas stuff and it came out with the decorations. We never read it together as a family, but I read it myself every year. It's a short read but I highly recommend it as a cynical satire.
