Quite a slope to be gathering sheep on.
I guess the precipitous drops were themselves part of the means of ensuring sheep went into the fold. Not that sheep are incapable of amazing feats of climbing!

If you come, please only park where you're supposed to. No, you can't just overflow onto the land if the car parks are full. Be kind and respectful to the land you're visiting. Don't leave any litter behind. Wear sensible shoes so you don't waste the time of Mountain Rescue. Don't defecate on the mountain, especially not on the paths (yes it happens). A part of Eryri so undisturbed that it's still possible to walk through the pattern of leading wall openings to an ancient - probably Bronze Age - field system.
Of course, being in Wales, it's never received anything other than the most cursory of notes-in-passing study, despite being in a wider area of intense prehistoric activity.
If this were found anywhere else, imagine the excitement.
5:30am start. Wind almost nil, not too chilly outside the house.
Up in the mountains before 7am. Wind steady 25mph, gusting around 35. Windchill below zero.
Ah well. I got the walk done. In shorts. 
Shame I missed what sounded like a great Tranmere game, but, I did have a good excuse

Yesterday afternoon. 3200 feet up. I was in a t-shirt and shorts.
Today, it's 4 degrees Celsius, windchill minus 4! 
This photo I took when descending Yr Wyddfa in 2023 has popped up as my iPad wallpaper… I don’t think I’ve ever really studied it before. The lake, the coastline, the rain… Love it.
