At the top mid-right of the photo is an uncommon view of the back of Stob Dearg - i.e. the most photographed mountain in Glencoe

A view of jagged peaks in a mountainous area on a summer's day. The sky is blue with fluffy white clouds and the sun casts shadows on the hills. The viewpoint is from high up, looking down on some peaks, but with others rising above. Very distant hills can also be seen on the left. It is clear that volcanic activity a very long time ago has forged these mountains into the landscape.

I have been travelling in the Highlands for a few days, going up past Loch Lomond, through Glencoe and along the Great Glen to Inverness, then back via Strathdearn glen and Perthshire.
Boy oh boy, what a country.
