Here's a funny thing - in #iOS #iOS17 you can't change the server for an existing mail account in the settings.app, unless you delete all the alternate addresses used by that account. If any addresses apart from the primary login address the account uses are present, it will fail with an "invalid address" error. Once it's validated the primary address, THEN you can add alternates back.
To be clear, this happens even if the primary address is the one ticked.

If anyone has problems with Face ID after the 17.6.1 iOS update try a FORCE RESTART.
What worked for me, after also getting that recommended through Apple chat support, was a force restart.
Press and release on the left side of your phone the Volume Up button 1 second, then the Volume Down button 1 second (one after the other not at the same time) and finally press and hold the right side button until the Apple symbol appears. Do NOT use the Power Off slider.
I was able to reset my Face ID afterwards without any problems.

Leaked April 2024 documents, obtained and verified by 404 Media, show Cellebrite could not unlock a large chunk of modern #iPhones
For all locked iPhones able to run 17.4 or newer, the document says "In Research," meaning they cannot necessarily be unlocked with Cellebrite's tools. For previous iterations of #iOS17, stretching from 17.1 to 17.3.1, Cellebrite says it does support the #iPhoneXR and #iPhone11.

#SwiftUI knowers: can anyone tell me why an existing Thing instance isn't deinitialzed when thing is set to nil? It's only deinitialized when a new Thing is assigned to thing.
This makes no sense to me. And it's bad if Thing is managing a resource.
I am experiencing an idle battery drain issue in iOS 17.4.1. As you can see in the screenshot, from around 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, there was no activity, but my battery went from 47-48% to 23-24%. Does #iOS have a way to just open the currently playing media from the lock screen any more? You used to be able to press the little thumbnail icon and it'd go straight to the app playing media, but now that just makes the thumbnail bigger since #iOS17 or something.
