Heute mal bevor's richtig dunkel wurde aus dem Büro #rausgeschafft, deswegen mit dem #BromptonGLine #TheScenicRoute #mdRnH geradelt und die noch laue Luft genossen. Statt der üblichen 4.2km sind's dann 7.3km geworden.

Ausserdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Ganganzeige vom #Brompton #ElectricGLine sich auch wunderbar als Kontrollleuchte für die (leider nicht mehr produzierte) #Knog Cobber Big USB-Rückleuchte an der Sattelstange eignet.

Blick auf eine Wohnstrasse bergab bei Dämmerung mit Verkehrsinsel und vom Velolicht beleuchtetem, gelben Zebrastreifen. Links ragen eine LED-Strassenlaterne und ein paar dunkle Äste ins Bild. Am Horizont dunkle Hügel, darüber ein Streifen gelbrosa, dann ein Streifen blaugraue Wolken und darüber klarer Himmel von Pastellgelb über Pastellrosa in ein schönes Mittelblau übergehend.
Nahaufnahme der rechten Lenkerhälfte meines Brompton Electric G-Lines. Unter dem Griff sieht man prominent einen Schalthebel für den Daumen. Links daneben ist ein Ganganzeige hinten einem Fensterchen in Bogenausschnittsform. Der hellrote Zeiger steht ganz am linken Rand auf "4". Knapp links der Mitte leuchtet ein senkrechter, roter Streifen an der Vorderkante des Fensters. Es ist die Spiegelung einer auch noch zur Seite leuchtenden Rückleuchte am Sattelrohr.
Mein Brompton Electric G-Line in momentaner Vollbeleuchtung: Hochkant montierte, weisse bzw. rote Akkuleuchten an Sattelstange und Lenker und die vom E-Bike-Akku gespeisten Leuchten ab Werk zwischen Kotflügel und Fronttasche und hinten am Gepäckträger. Ausserdem leuchten noch die zwei Paar gelbe Speichenreflektoren durch die Aufnahme mit Blitz.

Unter dem Höhenprofil stehen die Höhenmeter: 123m rauf und 84m runter.

@ascentale @MartyCormack #BikeNite A4: I can recommend most of #Knog's "be seen" models, except maybe the smallest one, the Frog (IMHO too dim): knog.com/collections/front-bik

I have several of the "Plus" (you can also clip them to cloths or bags like the Brompton "C" front bag) and either the Lil or Big Cobber as secondary "be seen" front light near the handlebar as the Brompton's headlight is rather deep down under the front bag. (And a Blinder taillight.)

The all have static + blink modes and USB.

#BikeStreak, Day 83: An 1.5km midnight ride on the #Strida to test the battery lights I bought for it. It was immediately clear for me that a pair of #Knog Big Cobber are perfect for it as "be seen" lights: knog.com/products/big-cobber-b

The "to see" light and especially its mount point were less obvious: I used a #Lezyne USB LED headlight I already had. First mounted it to the seat tube (!) to point downwards, but the steering tube gave the expected shadow. Now it's mounted to a brake Bowden wire. 🤪

@etp @ascentale #BikeNite A7 f'up: Regarding your preference for a separate fitting: Most of Knog's Blinder models (IIRC all except "Blinder Link") have no separate fitting, but a tiny buckle on the elastic band which makes it much easier to put the band around a handlebar or seat post stem. Also there, despite much more movement in the elastic band (have to unmount it for every charge), my #Knog Blinder Rear Bike Light "Square" on the Winterbrompton still has the original band from years ago.

Ich bin großer Fan von #Knog - die australische Marke bringt hauptsächlich #Fahrrad​lampen heraus, die, obwohl manchmal recht günstig, alles andere als billig sind.
Bei älteren Modellen kann es Probleme mit den Silikon-Haltern geben, aber bei aktuellen Modellen kann man die tauschen.

Ich habe 2012 (!) einen Kong Blinder 4V gekauft, der läuft immer noch, der Akku hält bei Dauerlicht knapp 2 Stunden (je nach Temperatur) und ich fahre fast täglich damit. Das beste Rücklicht, das ich je hatte.
