Ein 24-jähriger Medizinstudent wurde in Leuven der Vergewaltigung einer alkoholisierten Frau für schuldig befunden, erhielt jedoch keine Haftstrafe – mit Verweis auf seine Karriere und fehlende Vorstrafen. Stattdessen sollte er 3.800 € zahlen. Das Urteil löste Proteste unter dem Motto „Enough is enough“ aus. Die Staatsanwaltschaft legte Berufung ein – sie fordert strafrechtliche Konsequenzen. Der Fall entzündete eine Debatte über Opferschutz und privilegierte Täter.
