Crossref sponsors are local partners helping reduce barriers to participation. In 2024 alone, we welcomed new sponsors from Bangladesh (our first GEM sponsor), China, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Türkiye. These organizations help provide local language support, manage fees in local currency, and offer tailored technical help—making membership more practical and affordable.
