Oh, das ist ein großes Ding! Nutze seit über einem Jahrzehnt #PocketCasts Web durch die damalige Einmalzahlung, was später zum Abo für Neunutzer wurde. Die Webapp ist sehr gut und synchronisiert sich mit den Mobil-Apps für Android und iOS. Man kann geräteübergreifend Episoden faven und in Warteschlangen organisieren. Die Spielpositionen werden selbstverständlich auch gesynct.

It’s great to see #Podcast apps support Transcripts, but autoscroll is not there in most apps. My theory? It’s because dynamic ad insertion is why autoscroll isn’t available which causes challenges to keep text in sync.

Honestly, I find myself going back to #PocketCasts for my podcast listening more and more. Don't I like that it's an Automattic property? Not one bit. But most of what makes it work for me are those folders.

I'm looking forward to a native app from @samsethi and his platform #TrueFans.

I think #peertube needs to adopt more of the podcast model but where the apps also have a web experience. Peertube should have a default server but also a separate default site for their app. I think #pocketcasts does this very well, but peertube would probably need to let everybody into the web version of the app without initially setting up an account.
