Here's my demake of Princess Peach.

It might not be obvious that Elflings graphics are *even smaller* than the original Super Mario Bros. sprites until you see them side by side like this. The extreme color limitations are the same as with the original Nintendo.

And, yes, I should be working on or my presentation on Robotlike games (Chase and its variants) for the 2024 -- get your tickets now!

I'm excited that the Roguelike Celebration has selected my presentation for this year's event! It covers the Robot-like games that started with the BASIC-language program Chase in the 1970s. In many ways this can be thought of as a proto-roguelike game. The event will be Oct. 19-20. Don't miss the free online preview Sept. 8. See roguelike.club/ for info. (Other speeches TBA.)
