#Synesthesia and #writing stories...

I imagine a character for my story. Somehow that vision develops itself so I would eventally see their appearance.
I wanted to call them X or Y. But now I feel I cannot! Because colours of these chosen names match badly with their hair colour! :neofox_floof_yell:

Sometimes it could break my vision...

Anyone can relate?

@M8Macht AHHHHH no it's NOT!!!!! But, I've a #synesthesia I've never seen described anywhere - when I read, words have like personalities. Or a certain expression, like - a mimic of a kind, but I don't see real little persons or shit. Suppose that's the reason why there've to be the EXACT right words for a text to feel good, it's also the reason I LOVE to do heavy editing texts/proofread. Also the reason why I couldn't compute that not everyone is CRAZY about reading until I was in my late 20s 😆

@allancavanagh Thanks! 😊 I don't know if all #synaesthetes feel this way, because the connections between the senses are absolutely individual.

For #synaesthesia I recommend the BBC docu "When Senses Collide" - it's the best film trying to make the experience visible to non-synaesthetes. It's so difficult to describe it - they did it well! youtube.com/watch?v=BWGNWgBk76
