I have just recently seen evidence of the trans community in the UK trying to justify saying that we still have full rights under the EA, and using the TERF UK press articles as evidence of this 
This is exactly what happens when you live under a continual stream of lies. You end up thinking that those lies are the truth, and end up being complicit, much like those Jewish people, Roma, Sinti etc who sided with and supported the NSDAP.
The same is happening now, and I will not be silent when I see this, even if doing so costs me friends.
