I love how #comic artist @Ullilust goes all in with her recent #Fediverse promotion.

(The picture above is from a window exhibition in Vienna - the #Mastodon plug is as big as her new book!)

And if you think about it, there truly is a connection between the prehistoric cultures of empathy and solidarity she portrays in her comic and the ad-free, not-for-profit Fediverse with its empathetic CWs and Alt texts. 🦣 :mastodance: :fediverse:

Newest cover art timelapse released, this time for my acid rave track "Adversarial Arithmetic" on my new :CTRL: album! Enjoy! :Lampy:

This cover artwork started off fairly simply, with me just copying Lampy from the cover art of its synonymous track, making copies of it, and colouring them differently, then assigning them different mathematical operations. It was tricky because I had to keep grouping and un-grouping the individual shapes making up each of the Lampies because I wanted to add more details to them. Then the fun part: designing Adversarial Arithmetic's title art! I opted for something bold, jarring yet playful at the same time to symbolise the unconventional approach the copies of Lampy took to explore The Labyrinth. The next tricky part was positioning them in the cover art, and to emphasise the math symbols in their eyes I cropped out their wings and just had their eyes and interlocked antennae, which like the Lampies took a while to get just right because I wanted to add more detail to the antennae and show that they interlock. Not shown in this cover art timelapse was that when I was putting on the final details and making the glowing background, Assembly, the graphic design app for iPad I use, repeatedly kept crashing. I had to export the gradient background and the main cover art separately, and use Enlight (now Photofox) to add the background back. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Follow me on the Fediverse: https://mastodon.moule.world/@MOULE All MOULE links: https://moule.world
