Today, I snooped around on the Steam store during my usual after lunch break, and I found out #Knightica

Another whimsical #autobattler

I'm enjoying this newly emerged subgenre of strategy games

But I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with choice, and recognizing some patterns that are rubbing me the wrong way, lack of secondary gameplay loops or interesting storylines for example

Still, the more it matures, the more people are going to experiment with it

Cosmic Raze has evolved significantly since I 1st announced it. Never thought I'd make changes this drastic so late in development, but they were needed. It went from "Bullet Heaven w/ light Auto-Battler and Tower Defense elements" to "Tower Defense w/ light Auto-Battler and Bullet Heaven elements". And a pinch of roguelike elements too.

Songs of Silence combines turn-based #4XStrategy with flashy, cinematic auto battles. I've never played an #AutoBattler before, so the battles were quite different from what I'm used to, but it's cool you can still influence them by using skill cards (they're not too easy either; sometimes, you might have no other choice than a tactical retreat). As a strategy fan, I found the gameplay very engaging, with the enchanting art style and lore-rich fantasy world being the icing on the cake.

recommendation, . I don't play games, and only downloaded this one cause I was sleepy and thought it was an idle game. But I found the inventory management and the item/class combos allowed for a lot of fun puzzling about item arrangements and build creativity, and ended up playing through until I finished the demo.
