Typography at Its Finest: the ABC of Adding Fonts to Your Drupal Website. #drupal
https://imagexmedia.com/blog/fonts-drupal-website
#Drupal is like Photoshop: work with it for over 20 years, still discover new stuff every day.
Today I learned:
\Drupal::service('country_manager')->getList()
returns:
[
'AC' => t('Ascension Island'),
'AD' => t('Andorra'),
'AE' => t('United Arab Emirates'),
...
]
Pretty handy if your data only contains country codes rather than complete country names.
So I did a thing. I've started a #Drupal project on https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal_scuba for #scubadivers. You see, I've attached some kind of diving adventure to the last two Drupal events I've attended. If you're a drupaller and a diver and you want to be added to the project, let me know. I *think* I'm going set something up for #DrupalColorado this July. And meet "Drupie" the dive octopus.

After seeing sessions and having discussions at @drupalcon Atlanta, it is clear to me that Experience Builder will be a major inflection point for #drupal - is launches this year (along with some component libraries to really show it off!)

@dries Thank you Dries for the exciting insights into Drupal's future.
If I have a #Drupal 11 site already, will I be able to implement the #AI features and #DrupalExperienceBuilder and some other features as well easily with modules via composer or do I have to switch to #DrupalCMS?
Can I restrict the use of ExperienceBuilder completely or per component, based on user role/permissions?

I'm available for contract Drupal work.
I'm happy working as part of a team or in isolation. I've worked on massive international websites you've probably heard of, to tiny one-offs you'll never visit, and everything in between.
While my happy place is front end Drupal development (theming and site building), I'm able to turn my hand to most things.
If you've anything you need help with, no matter how large or small, please do get in touch.
Thanks.

DrupalCon was inspiring, exciting, and overwhelming, as usual! I hoped to come away with a new focus, and I did but maybe not what I imagined. Here is my relatively hot take:
