It was worth waiting for the fog to clear, even if it took almost three hours. I arrived at around 10 in the morning, clearing up was forecast for around 11, but it took almost until 1 pm.
Me and my three passengers were rewarded with the most stunning clouds and scenic views I have seen in a long time.

Und gleich der nächste Unfall am Flugplatz Porta Westfalica. Diesmal eine Cessna C337 Skymaster, die anscheinend nach dem Start im Maisfeld notlanden musste. Pilot leicht verletzt, und wie's aussieht mindestens Propeller, Motor und Bugfahrwerk beschädigt.

A Super-Dimona touring motorglider (TMG) crash-landed short of Runway 23 at my home field #EDVY. Pilot was injured but survived.
Nothing official yet, I just hope it wasn't one of those pilots who always shut down the engine on final approach in the TMG, because they think they're so cool and "it is permitted."
