#genuary8 prompt: Draw one million of something.
#genuary9 prompt: The textile design patterns of public transport seating.
Not much time so combined two prompts. Efficiency! In Poznań my most memorable bus and tram upholstery had weird bright shapes on deep green. I made 1 mil spheres, added a halftone filter to the rendering pipeline so it looks more like fabric. Et voila.

The prompt for #Genuary2025 Day 9 is “ #PublicTransit ” & Day 8 is “Draw a #Million ”
DigitalCamira is coded in #hydravideosynth , it uses over a million drawn items and is inspired by the #Camira Pattern:

Millions Converge
As we are sitting we are merged
into the patterns that arise
when there intersections of lines
That are tagging along the Journey, the ride
as we sit at this time

Draw one million of something.
this one kinda killed my poor computer... a million is A LOT!
this is all tracery/JavaScript rendering into SVG
it took several seconds to finish processing the tracery and then over two minutes to finish drawing all the stars.
I’m sure i could have chosen something smaller/simpler to draw for this one, but what would the fun have been in that?

#genuary8 - Draw one million of something. The Mandelbrot set is full of good stuff. This image shows the path of a single point iterated through the Mandelbrot equation 1 million times. Given another 20000 iterations or so, the point will finally escape. Finding such points with high escape times is fun, as most randomly-selected points will escape within a hundred or so iterations. #fractal #mandelbrot #genuary #genuary2025
So for day 8 of #genuary I thought it would be funny to have it filled with 1 million lines arranged as tally marks. But I underestimated how much 1 milion is, so even with the scrolling it is not enough at the moment, because enough tally marks would crash the sketch. Maybe I will find a fix for this later on because I still like this simple idea. #genuary8

I chose to draw one million cubes. I wanted to explore the isometric mode from #Genuary5 a bit more, and used my signature palette with a 3D noise field applied over a cube of 100 x 100 x 100 smaller cubes. You might be wondering why there is so much space around it. Well... 1/2
I imagine the Florkh from the planet M'shrf counting with colors instead of numbers. This counting disc is able to display a million different combinations.
