Just tested it. When you export your game, you can leave the glb files behind (don't have to select them) and the "inherited" scenes will still have all the meshes.
I had heard this but was not certain.
That will save some space!

#Mayo the cross platform viewer and converter that support several #CAD file format, is actively developed and is getting better, an #opensource application based on #OpenCascade and can handle also various mesh file format like #glFT or #glb

Latest #blender version can reference scenes and export them as separate #gltf / #glb files on the fly
the #threejs runtime can easily load them anytime using our Needle Engine AssetReference type including all interactive components :)
