Jenny<p>Today’s 3 good things:</p><p>- I went for mental health walk around the neighborhood. I had trouble managing my anxiety thoughts, so I pulled up some nice music on my phone to listen to while I walked.</p><p>- Saw some cute doggies on my walk. Also passed a couple of early teen boys who moved out of my way on the sidewalk, said hello, and wished me a nice day.</p><p>- Watched <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/MeanGirls" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MeanGirls</span></a> for the first time. Kids have all of these cultural influences from whatever media they’re consuming, that shows maths as this very obtuse thing that all the ‘nerds’ know who to do, but the protagonist is kind of mystified by. I think this contributes a lot to kids’ maths anxieties. -Will Roberts
