Andor is excellent! It's like a grown up version of the movies we watched as kids.

@CosmicCleric In my opinion, #Andor benefits immeasurably from the context the rest of the #StarWars franchise has built, and as a consequence owes a lot of its positive qualities to that which came before it.
I love the show as much as the next person. But my eyes are open about what is likely at the root of the exceptionalist outbursts. #Fantasy has long been frowned upon by tastemaker critics.

Andor has crossed that line. It's become one of those shows that feels like work. You know the feeling — when the effort of following the plot lines, the lugubrious tone, and the pompousness of the storytelling outweighs the entertainment value. Why does it sometimes seem like that is the last consideration: whether the show is actually enjoyable.
Imagine including a portentous seven-minute scene in which a clairvoyant basically says — "he's special." My god.
Star Wars Rebels Season 3 Episode 18 occurs concurrently with Andor Season 2 Episode 9. Mon Mothma appears in the Rebels episode. So, if you’re watching Andor, maybe go back and watch that Rebels episode again. Cool stuff.
