#CircusLupus’ second album Solid Brass (1993) has one foot in #TouchAndGo noise and one foot in the angular #DiscordRecords sound.

It took me a while to get into them but now I’m full immersed.

Zupełnie zapomniałem ,że rozpocząłem cykl Noise rockowy Następny zespół jest raczej mało rozpoznawalny u nas ale zdecydowanie wart uwagi. W odmętach Wisconsin narodzil się Killdozer. Głównie byli związani że słynną w noiseowym światku wytwórnią Touch and Go a producentem wielu ich dzieł był utalentowany Butch Vig (korzystali niego potem m.in Nirvana i Smashing Pumpkins ). Jeden album z kolei produkował sam Steve Albini.

Brzmienie Killdozera jest powolne, surowe, chropowate i ciężkie. Rytm nadaje prymitywna perkusja. Ciekawym dodatkiem do tej mieszanki są okazjonalne Barytonowy Saxhorn, Akordeon, Trąbka i pogwizydywania. Za wokal odpowiada Michael Gerald a jego styl jest celowo przerysowany, teatralny i "kaznodziejski" ( Czym przypomina mi trochę zespół The Jesus Lizard ). Teksty są ironiczne, groteskowe i przepełnione absurdem. Szczególnie wart uwagi jest album Twelve Point Buck.

Powszechnie uważa się ,że podłożyli fundamenty pod Grunge.
