I'd originally intended for bottles to smash after players had chucked them away, but I kind of like just leaving them around, littering the place. Environmental storytelling of a sort
Thinking about it there's plenty of opportunity to lean into the littering in this game. We always planned for sandwiches to be a headline consumable item in our game; both because of the DRG references ("When we get back, it's sandwich time") and because there's few things more British than obsessing about sandwiches & meal deals a little too much. We should definitely think about tossing the triangle package and crusts around the level as well
Big hole in the ground == bin?
Not quite happy with the bottle + ground sound, it uses the physical surface stuff to make a different sound (clinking if it hits another bottle, thump if it hits the ground) but I don't think it sounds enough like glass. Bottles probably do make that sound when they hit dirt but maybe more fake would be better
@sinbad maybe if u litter too much, your mining only returns great veins of bottles and sammiches!
