I had Thanksgiving yesterday with some other Americans living here. New Zealand has a lot to learn about supersized genetically modified bioengineered Turkeys. Next year I'm doing lamb. Also cranberries seem to be a delicacy and come in very small fancy jars.

Cranberries expensive to import?
@grumpygamer We’ve had better and better luck over time here in Paris.
You might want to try checking around with butchers. We shop with several, but our go-to butcher buys from people farming turkeys originally bred from American stock. It’s apparently a different breed which yields more breast meat and has a bigger cavity.
It’s still not monster-sized, but our turkey this year was big enough to serve seven people (including three teens) two nights in a row, and still have leftovers.
