@FullyBugged same, I don't even bother to post game dev stuff on twitter.
@maciekglowka Well, we do because it does not cost anything, but our messages are less and less seen there. For the two other ones, we never had a message attracting indiedev interest there, but we'll continue.
@FullyBugged yes. Twitter is dead for us. Every year, we announce a grant program of 10 k€ (we may give you money, just fill this form), no one cares
@lutindiscret funny when you think it's 100x more users per months than Mastodon.
I think the Pay to be viewed kill it for "little users"
@lutindiscret what's the 10 k€ Grant program for btw?
@FullyBugged it's @copiepublique. We gather french companies to support Free/Libre/Open-source software and commons (could be video games or libraries/framework/assets/tools for gamedev such as Godot or bevy)
@lutindiscret @copiepublique
Oh wow, cool
can the (French) Open source ORX game engine can be part of this you think? (it's not a company behind it but a almost one man project around for 20 years
@FullyBugged for now every company member of @copiepublique chose the project they support (who pays decide). The only exception is my company @codelutin which, every year, propose any project to candidate and then, an internal vote chose the few project we will support. The orx dev may follow @codelutin and @copiepublique to be informed of the next round (next year, 2024 round is closed).
Best thing to do is to tell your employer (if french) to join @copiepublique, a game company may be OK to support things used internally but any company can join, it's just an engagement to support financially FLOSS every year, even with small amounts.
