Incredibly proud of the work graphs release, see: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/d3d12-work-graphs-preview/ and https://community.amd.com/t5/gaming/gpu-work-graphs-a-great-day-for-gpu-programmability/ba-p/613612
A huge cross-team effort at AMD I had the pleasure to be involved with and hey, finally I can talk about stuff I've been doing! If you have questions about this, feel free to reach out, and if you are a developer, give it a shot!
@rovarma Thanks! What a ride, and now we just need to maintain this forever :)
@anteru A great step forward!
Now we just need the same thing on the other platforms/APIs :D
@daniel_collin Patience? Can't do everything everywhere all at once :)
@anteru Agreed! Which is why I said this is a great step forward.
@anteru I didn’t find names to thanks that were here in Mastodon when I first read it. But this is fantastic, thank you so much! I’ve been waiting for this and seeing API changes this early *and* already some driver support was a shock.
I’m curious about how it works in hardware/driver. Is there a chance for some more insight about that in the future?
@osor_io Maybe a day at GDC? I don't know, I think it would be great to talk about this :)
