<rant> Still I find the majority of online retailers list comparison or filter data in its raw (and, badly ordered) format, without running a simple SQL CASE WHEN or using FLOOR for binning. Crazy. <end rant>

@rich yeah this stuff is infuriating but also super hard to get right. none of the large retailers have these kinds of customisations cuz its much cheaper to just do full text search

@miunau I still wonder at an "unbothered with" problem since the outset of online retailing. Fixing it would lead to more sales. Amazon tends to not fall into this trap, but I guess $$$Bn <shrug>
