For this (gloomy here, had to use a lamp) #MurderEveryMonday title with a word
that describes a group of people, I'm sharing this The Terrible Gang (the original title is The Terrible People). I like and have read several of Edgar Wallace books a long time ago, but I think I didn't read this one.
This book has two adaptations by the same title, a silent serial film from 1928 (considered lost) and another film from 1960.
In countries with copyright +70, Wallace is in
#PublicDomain so if you are curious about it you can read it at Project Gutenberg Australia here:

#MurderEveryMonday Cover
with a broken or smashed object:
#ColecçãoVampiro has many authors of what's called hard boiled subgenre, so one would expect broken and smashed things right and left. And indeed, I found many objects (glasses, stools, pipes,
bicycles) turned over, but clearly they must have been of the most high quality because none of them were broken
l've shared recently a broken compact, but I wanted to get a different cover, and found this one. Original
title isThe Case of the One-Eyed Witness.
Thank you to Kate for the hashtag, you can check her blog to know more

In May 2005, I created my character Mercedes Masterson. She is currently the main character in my book series. That means in May she’ll be turning 20 years old. To celebrate, you can pick up the first two stories in the series for free.

About the Series —

Mercedes Masterson Detective Stories is a noir series of books that follows the cases, friends, and colleagues of private investigator Mercedes Masterson that takes place in or around the fictional city of Babylon. Mercedes is a former Babylon Police detective and State Bureau of Investigations agent who goes into the private sector after a decade of fighting police corruption and organized crime.

The series addresses issues such as racism, police corruption, organized crime, and domestic terrorism. The books also include mental health, LGBTQ, and racial minority representation.

We know #TransWomen are women, #TransMen are men, and #NonBinary people are neither. We also know that they're all going through a lot right now.

We'd like to support our #trans siblings. With that in mind, please reply to this with links to trans authors. Then check out the links, bookmark this thread to check for new links later, and maybe buy a few books.

We'll start.

Dharma Kelleher writes #CrimeFiction. Her Jinx Ballou Bounty Hunter series is about a bounty hunter who is also a cosplayer, hence the opening line of book two: "I don’t typically show up at a fugitive’s door dressed as Wonder Woman."

Lewis Hancox has written two graphic novels about growing up as a trans man. We couldn't find a website, but he does have a LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/lewishancox

Russell Phillips (@RPBook) is Robin's pen name. They're a #NonBinary author of #MilitaryHistory #NonFiction and #TTRPG books.

by Robert Jackson Bennett.

A murder mystery fantasy novel - why is this a first for me?! Fairly standard whodunnit which escalates to political intrigue, made distinctive by very cool world-building: an empire built to defend against leviathans attacking from the sea, whose bodily fluids enable a raft of fantastical bio-enhancements. Interesting characters and the potential for more fleshing out give the series much promise.

This is one of the best things I've ever read on the internet.

Seriously. You've formulated a fresh way of looking at ubiquitous internet surveillance — in a manner that cuts right through all the abstractions. Recasts the truly outrageous nature of what the techbros do to us daily, into basic human terms.

How can we make your insight famous? It deserves to lead off the next million discussions of this enormous problem.
