I recently finished the Hyperion Cantos series and I've been thinking about some of the ideas... Notably what happens at the end of the second book and how I see it as a metaphor to what some of us in the fediverse and indieweb are trying to do in terms of tech and healing that part of our society. I'm going to try to write a blog post or maybe do a video talking about it. I just hope it's intelligible to others.

Listened to this as I read the end of Part 1 of The Rise of Endymion. Definitely a good listen for science fiction, especially if uneasy, meditative or horror oriented.

Just finished the first two #HyperionCantos and am considering the other two but have heard from many that they're nowhere near as good as the first two. I have so many books that I know I'll love yet on the eternal TBR... Should I bother with the Endymion books? Which I paid like a quarter for each yoinks and yoinks ago. What say you?
