#JabRef got a new cool new feature, to quickly see where bibliographic information is still incomplete. You might think, JabRef has already an Integrity check? Well, this feature's key focus is primarily on identifying missing required fields and to providing a quick overview.

JabRef’s Blog · 🎄 JabRef 6.0-Alpha Release 🎄We are excited to publish the first Alpha version of the upcoming Version 6.0. JabRef 6.0 Alpha already brings many new features, improvements and fixes.

Recently, the annual JabCon, JabRef's own conference, took place in Zwiesel, Germany.

We took the time to discuss the architecture of #JabRef and work on some important aspects, primarily the improved architecture. In the near future, you will be able to use JabRef's core features from CLI and also use JabRef as a library as part of your tool chain independently of the GUI.
And for the normal users, the cleaner architecture will also result in improved stability.

Tired of reading through all the papers? Let #AI generate a summary for you, or use it to "chat" with your papers!

Either connect with existing AI providers or use a local #LLM installation.

Check out the new feature, one of our #GSOC contributors is currently working on:

We finally released #JabRef 5.15 - now with a proper blog post, and this time with correct binaries for intel macs and fixes for #snap users.

This release comes with some nice improvements for #TeXLaTeX users, as can be seen in the video.

And we added experimental support for using #bst styles as Preview.
Despite that, we also did the usual bug fixing and UI improvements
