I am doing #CrossBorderRail from #Zagreb (#Croatia) to #NovaGorica (#Slovenia) changing #train in #Jesenice.
First train 40 minutes delay. So: I arrived in Jesenice 20 minutes after the second train should have left. But the train controller called the station to say that one passenger (me) was on the delayed train and asked to wait... And it DID WAIT 20 min only for me!!
Never seen something like that.

Warmbad #Villach station, the other day: a southbound intermodal, hauled by a pair of #ÖBB Class 1293 #Siemens #Vectron electrics, is passing through. About one kilometre further down, at Auen Abzw. fork, the line splits into the #Tarvisio and #Jesenice branches.

#Jesenice in February 2017: a #SlovenianRailways class 813/814 unit has just arrived from a working over the scenic #Bohinj line. These railcars, of Italian design and similar to #FS ALn 668.1800, were built in the 1970s.
