- get my tires moving, I don't commute so the car often sits unused for a week or two at a time
- top off the legacy non-traction battery a li’l (granted it's supposed to do this even while parked but apparently that can be buggy)
- empty-road brake checks to make sure they work / scrape some rust off (regenerative braking = real ones rarely see actual use)
- flip off a Mercedes-driving asshole wearing a MAGA hat

Nationwide protests took place in the USA today, April 19, 2025. These pictures were taken in Galloway, New Jersey. A few hundred people showed up to express their outrage and disapproval of the Trump regime.

Encouraging note: this protest was bigger than the last, had more young people, and more young families involved!

Today in Labor History April 19, 1913: Modestino Valentino, a bystander, was shot and killed by company detectives during a conflict between IWW strikers and scabs in Patterson, N.J., during the infamous Silk Strike, which the workers ultimately lost on July 28, 1913. During the strike, 1,850 workers were arrested, including Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and Big Bill Haywood.
