It's a little.. iffy looking
I did honestly think I'd imagined this toy for the longest time, and so wanted to find it again, and then when I did.. it's a bit unnerving.
Me this morning: “I really don’t need to go to any flea markets yet, I’ve got too much else to worry about.”
Me this afternoon: “Look what I found for $5!”
I drove out to a retro store, the next town over, to get out of the house and walk around, so I took some pictures. The place was like a market with various vendor stalls with retro toys and games. This is basically an antique store for millennials.

At TFCon Toronto, I bought a $5 (CND!) Zod from GoBots that was not guaranteed to work and had some obvious battery contact corrosion, but his tires were intact and his stickers were pretty good. Also, $5. I finally got some C batteries and sure enough, his electronics don't seem to work. I can probably fix him, but taking him fully apart requires me to cut his perfectly nice stickers, since they're over a seam. So now I have to decide if that's worth it.

I've started uploading my 1080p-upscaled version of Inhumanoids: The Evil That Lies Within to YouTube! It doesn't look as good as the Visionaries upscales but that's because nothing will ever look as good as Visionaries. But it's a lot more watchable than my previous raw PAL DVD uploads!

It's Figure Friday and I'm at work.
So, here's a Mr. Potato Head figure from the 1970s. It looks so very different than the current Mr. Potato head.
Oh, and that canon next to it I made when I was in college. Where I went to undergrad, all freshman engineering majors had to take a metal shop class and their final project was to make either a canon or a catapult. I thought the canon looked cooler.
