I updated my fire beam VFX, added some more nice details and improved the timing overall.
My personal favourite change is the smoke on the character :3

In spite of strange bugs and some crashes I managed to make a first prototype sim and import it into UE!

Currently training myself to try and make things more colorful. I feel like I use colors as if they cost extra x'D

Needed to change it up a bit and worked on 'orb collector', a 'fake prototype game thing we want to look cool n weird' I am making with a friend.
Mostly implemented blueprint logic and placeholder timings:

I am once again spending too much time on my game's water. This time I added gerstner waves!
Raymarched Volumetric Fog
This is one of those effects I've always wanted to make, but never fully understood until recently. It's a simple thing, but I think it's SO COOL! Running at 60fps even on my 8 year old laptop.
Niagara Grid2D feels like a superpower.
Sending position and radius data over to it. This is what can be used to drive fluid sims O.O I am super excited to try it out again! Previous methods were super expensive, this is around 0.3ms.
