Like an idiot, I left 4lbs (1.8kg) of frozen organic strawberries on the basement kitchen counter instead of bringing them to the upstairs freezer.

They were almost completely thawed when I found them.

So now I’m making a purée and re-freezing that because for some reason you can’t refreeze strawberries but can refreeze them puréed.
