Rudolf Gwalther, Swiss reformer, reflects on sharing in Acts 2. Christians are to be united, to see other’s adversity and prosperity as their own. Christ wanted love to be the badge of his Disciples.

Today, some want Christianity to get credit for being the prevailing culture, as if everyone is Christian. But when it comes to sharing, are we too quick to throw up national and doctrinal boundaries?

How can you show love to other disciples?

Friends of the #Fediverse,
sometimes it feels like the world has gone mad.
Sometimes it feels like everything is working against us.
Sometimes we feel like deserted islands in an endless ocean.
Sometimes it feels like everything we do is pointless.
Sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart.

Turn off the socials.
Turn off your smartphones.
Turn off the noise of your thoughts.

Put on some headphones.

And, for a while, let yourself be carried by the notes, the music, the poetry. Just that. Nothing else. Only the music, to travel and soar on the notes, through the melodies, with basslines that warm you and percussion that beats like a heart.

The colors will return. The colors that live inside each of us.

Hello Fediverse!

:fediverse: :AsSlowAsPossible:

We are a (very slow) movement of idle idealists, who want to save humanity from overperformance.

Please always write our name in correct camel case.

#AsSlowAsPossible

Pressure to perform is the enemy of happiness and the good life for everybody.
Sloth is a virtue.
In this society however, being lazy is also a privilege.
We demand a universal right to be lazy.
Nobody's laziness should create more work for others though. Including machines and "AI".

The aim is to consume less and live more.
