I made three different playing card cases to see if I could figure out the patterns, without having them, and to see for myself what they would look like. The first was easy enough to make but needlessly fussy. The second is the simplest and least time consuming. The third is most traditional but I think I like it best. #LeatherCraft #DIY #maker #leather

**Bookbinding Journey**

Finally, all the material that I need to begin my #bookbinding journey and #bindery have arrived. I will be teaching myself through a process of trial and error, and would appreciate any advice from the Fediverse /Mastodon along the way. I will begin with rudimentary steps, but hope to end with being able to produce exquisitely bound #leather #books.
