In the Montparnasse derailment (22 October 1895), a train approached the station too fast and overran the buffer stop at the Gare Montparnasse terminus. It crashed through the wall and partly fell onto the Place de Rennes.
While all passengers survived, a woman in the street was killed in the incident.

Pour aller aux toilettes à la gare #Montparnasse ça coûte 1€ et quand tu mets ta pièce dans le portillon tu reçois ce reçu "bon de réduction". Je ne suis décidément plus faite pour ce monde.
