Have there been any reports of #Pixel4a phones bursting into flames?
It was one of the reasons speculated for why Google utterly bollixed the battery life in their update a couple of months ago. I've got an old #Pixel #4a & flashed it with LineageOS (& before anyone asks, no it's not my primary device). So far it hasn't exploded & I very much doubt it will, but I'm curious if this speculation was supported by any evidence or even anecdotes.

Mich ärgert es so, dass ich jetzt mir ein neue Smartphone kaufen muss. Meins funktioniert noch prima, ist von der Leistung mehr als ausreichen und der Akku ist auch noch Okay. Aber es gibt keinen Herstellersupport mehr und auch keine Sicherheitsupdates. Damit ist es sowohl bei #calyxos als auch #grapheneos raus. Apple dodges another Apple Watch ban, and they are delaying new AI features for the iPhone. Microsoft and OpenAI might be going through a rough patch. Google still needs to sell off divisions to satisfy the DOJ. DVD's are apparently rotting, and not all can be replaced. The Pixel 4a could be having a Note 7 moment.

Fuck me, the #Pixel4a battery update is a pile of shite.
Not only have they crippled the battery's life, the fucking thing now doesn't charge half the time even when it's showing a "charging" status on the screen. 
Time for LineageOS.

#CalyxOS in particular seems very neat – does anyone have experiences with it? I'm not sure how it compares to #GrapheneOS? Or, seeing how the Pixel 4a is "end of life" for both of them, should I just go with #LineageOS?
