I've been using proton as my main email provider for a couple of years and i never realized this was a problem at all. I mean, many times i don't get a response but i thought it was because they didn't want to respond at all.

We tried Proton as an alternative to Dropbox. Works fine and the Mac Finder integration seems solid. But it seems one can’t access shared folders in the iOS Files app? That makes it pretty much useless as we share a lot of files. Dropbox does this seamlessly, but slowly deamericanizing is the goal here. Unfortunately I don’t think self hosted solutions would work too well here.
You don't need to be and you can install non-steam games on Steam Deck...
ie. battle.net and the people behind Proton are even improving the experience for installing battle.net

I'm playing a lot of battle.net games...also at one point Valve banned me for a game dev being an oversensitive pr***. I've not forgiven Valve for that...still...
Recibí a #Proton con sospechas. Entendí que no incentiva el #videojuego nativo; cosa que en gran parte es cierta todavía. Pero indudablemente no alcancé a comprender el potencial que tenía (y ahora lo tengo clarísimo) para afianzar la base gráfica (y demás) de #GNU con #Linux. No solo está afianzando: está mejorando muy notablemente al sistema operativo para escritorio en general y para videojuegos en particular.
