If you like to see @linalab and me performing as Damage Such in @azimutclub for @performingtheclub, the full video is now uploaded to Youtube. youtu.be/w-nYgVfBXJI?si=vsbHjp

Thanks to @karinaddicted of @algoritmi_official for inviting us! Also thanks to @performingtheclub, @genauturin, @wired.productions! Photo taken by @matt_capucchio.

Thanks to @stimuleringsfonds for supporting my live coding projects and collaboration with Lina.

One of the TOPLAP Solstice streams featured Torsten Goerke and Fernando Bravo (www.openguitar.org) playing amplified guitars with synthesis via VCV Rack. Unfortunately, most of the synthesis parts weren't in the stream during the performance.

Fortunately, we were able to edit the video to add audio with the guitars together with the synthesis parts.

The resulting performance is really nice - quite unique, hypnotic and mesmerizing.

If you were listening during their stream - now you can hear it more as it was intended.

This past weekend I participated in the TOPLAP Solstice stream - as an admin and as a participant. I love doing these events. It brings me out of my own creative coding bubble and I get exposed to many different approaches and expressions.

I also really like how global the event feels. It reminds me that people everywhere are doing what I do - using technology to create. We all work at this, we experiment, try new directions, fail, struggle at times with technical and creative problems, get excited, and we want to share what we've done. These events tend to bring out the best in people - we are supportive, encouraging, non-competitive, collaborative, open to new things.

I look forward to having access to the archives and watching parts of the 33 hour marathon that I missed!

🔊📼 On Sat Sept 14th 2024, my album „ji kū kan“ will be released with #CallItAnythingRecords (thanks @QBRNTHSS) in this beautiful tape edition. Its hand-made and limited to only 42 pieces. It comes with an analog animation of waves in #spacetime…any orders will receive a personal hug from me ☺️.

<<As “more profound” than vision or hearing, rhythm (which we must understand, along with vibration, as another name for difference) is what runs from objects to organs, from organs to the objects that captivate them, and from their relations to the art objects that carry sensations. >> (E. Grosz)
