Anyone around here have an ODROID GO Advance? I pulled mine out of a drawer and would love to get it set up w/some games for my nearly six-year-old kid. It has an old version of Batocera on it, but I want to start fresh w/an experience as foolproof and console-like as I can for the kid. Probably just a handful of SNES, GBA, and PSX games if I can.
I have a model w/out onboard Wi-Fi and I swear a USB dongle used to work, but it doesn’t seem to be, now, either.

I was always a fan of his white space-worm-suit, they got it perfect in this #design

I like playing it this way sometimes. The only downside is the text is a teeny bit hard to read. But it's more portable this way!

There are a lot of great creators in the #RetroHandheld scene. Brandon with Retro Dodo is one of them. He's not my favorite but I respect how he runs his business. This is a good opinion piece on the current state of the market.

I bought the #Anbernic #RG503 on a whim last night.
I know about its shortcomings but it runs Linux, has an OLED display, and a better chip than the 40XXH I just returned.
I got it from Amazon for 135 USD after tax, which is a bit more than twice what I paid for the 40XXH, but $80 less than the price of the upcoming #Retroid Pocket Mini.
I may very well end up returning it but I wanted something interesting to take on a trip I'm going on this weekend.
Aaaa, I love this thing so much. Just got it today and it's so beautiful!

Got my #RG40XXH.
First impression: Backlight Bleed!
I opened it up but couldn't find any way to fix it. After putting it back together I managed to alleviate the problem by simply pressing down on the screen. I don't like how much it creeks when doing so, even just to clean it, but I'm feeling better about my purchase now.
Aside from the screen issues, I think this is a very nice device, especially for 60 USD.
