How did I spend #SysadminDay, you ask?

A host to manymany VMs came up unlucky from cold boot without a route to a valid NTP server, which threw system time into the random past, which in turn meant that DNSKEY(DNSSEC) was b0rked because the process owner was from before the key validity period, which in turn meant that bind9/named provided broken DNS to all the VMs, which meant no NTP for them either, which in turn baffled logs, corrupted session caches & created piles of unsent mail.

@AAKL @ZDNet @sjvn its the tried and true distro. Apart from Arch of course and knowing how to manipulate the system and what-not. I've been distro hopping for years and nothing comes close to Mint imho. I'm not a luddite, or ignorant when it comes to tech, software and the like.. happy #sysadminday but, when it comes to Mint my eyes are open wide to never having to run into issues. But, I've also never sticked with using a single distro for over 1 a year so that also says something.
