The Accordion Ninjas are a joke that appeared on the other site ten years ago that made me and maybe two other accordionists (and maybe an organist) laugh

Years later I started making button/badges which have never sold tons — they’re so deeply inside 🪗 — but make me smile every time I see them

@luke helped make #Tango Ninja ones last year which dig the joke even deeper, but again 😹

They use the fab Accordion #Font you can encode messages with!

52 hours after they came in the mail, I have already distributed 100 queer tango fliers. I really should’ve gotten more. I left little piles in 8 queer bars plus a cafe known for hosting progressive events. 100 was nowhere near enough. The piles got progressively smaller.

I figure recruiting more queer folks to tango is likely to be more effective than recruiting more tango folks to queer.

Wir sprechen in der Folge darüber, wie das Instrument zu seinem Namen kam und warum es wahrscheinlich ohne seine innige Verbindung zum Tango längst in Vergessenheit geraten wäre.

We are excited to announce that starting this Saturday, March 22, we will be offering FREE dance classes and practice EVERY Saturday afternoon. All of our events are queer-centered.

Please note, no street shoes or stiletto heels are permitted on the dance floor. Dance shoes with flat or chunky heels are fine, and socks are a great option.

In einer Neotango-Playlist stolperte ich über einen Song "Ghost Town" von einer Band "MLNGA CLUB". Wikipedia verriet, dass der Song zuerst 1981 von "The Specials" veröffentlicht wurde - als Ska-Rock.
Tja, an sich kannste jede 4/4-#Musik zum #Tango verbiegen. Besonders wenn sie depri ist, hier etwa gehts um verwaiste Innenstädte während einer Rezession.
Oh, Ohrwurm ... sorry, musste ein #Akkordeon-Solo davon arrangieren. 🎶 Wie immer mit gesyncter Aufnahme zum Mitspielen.
