My May 2025 playlist is out! 44% of it is new music from this year, covering 18 genres and 8 decades. I've really been enjoying sticking the pieces of this one together all month. Enjoy :)

This week's #TidalTuesday playlist is a journey through my diverse musical tastes, all thanks to Tidal's suggestions and my own selective shuffling! I let the algorithm guide me, and the results are surprisingly eclectic and rewarding.
It's a wild ride! What do you think of this algorithmically-inspired mix? What are your favorite unexpected musical discoveries lately? Share in the comments!

25/04/21 Playlist Update

As I'm stil trying switching away from Spotify, I'm trying out since today Tidal.
When i choose in Google maps setting for "default media playback controls" I can only select Youtube music and Spotify. But there is no Tidal and no qobuz to select.
Any workaround for this?
I'm not driving many times with a car, but when I do, I like to have it.
Whats the best way to make a backup of / save my spotify lists?
I definitely want to leave asap, but I haven't decided yet what I want to use instead. Therefore it would be nice to have a backup that I can easily import to Qobuz, tidal etc. later.
Increasingly glad to have dumped Spotify. Looking fwd to exploring Bandcamp and Tidal more.
And sharing for those who are also looking for a better music experience.

#Psst #tidal-hifi #FreeBSD
I was able to install and run both clients from the links below. Psst is a Spotify Client, and it works with Spotify Premium. The Tidal client, I was able to install it using the Linux emulation binary from the application's rpm release package.
Unfortunately, none of them support the Connect feature that allows you to stream
music from your mobile device to your FreeBSD system.
The April 2025 Playlist is 37% new music, and it's out on 8 platforms: Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, LastFM, and Qobuz. Happy listening :)

I'm not listening to music today because I am watching Corey Booker's live 20+ hour speech today. But if you would prefer some music instead, I've got you covered:

I'm not sure which music streaming platform to use. I currently use #AppleMusic. In the past I've used #Deezer and #Tidal. I really liked #Deezer at the time, but then I switched to Apple Music to consolidate several services in the same subscription.
Now I want to change. I was thinking of going back to #Deezer but I've read a lot of very positive comments about #Qobuz, especially about the sound quality. Plus they pay artists a bit more.
Any comments?
Listening to this song moments before the first meeting of the day. Sounds good.
