@sjwrenlewis I wish this chart that you quoted was more widely known: the impact of Brexit on the UK economy, as seen from 2016 onwards, both before and after the top of the pandemic. Particularly visible in comparison to USA, Italy and France:

I’ve been watching and reading about the lengths that UK businesses are going to to maximise their profits at the same time as spinning doom-and-gloom narratives to drive down workers’ pay and reducing the workforce while increasing responsibilties.
Supposedly banks have a recruitment freeze for UK-based workers but are willing to recruit cheaper online staff from overseas.

The #Britisheconomy (#UKEconomy) has been #underperforming for almost two decades, with #economicgrowth having declined significantly since the 2008 #financialcrisis". The #BankofEngland's #quantitativetightening is further making the situation worse, and #RachelReeves, as some have said, fears the banks and won't to tell the Bank to stop selling #bonds.
In the context #UKeconomy, there's still opportunity for change. #RachelReeves, #ChancelloroftheExchequer, can give up her stupid fiscal rules or #KeirStarmer can sack her (and Labour can sack #Starmer 
).
