Photo shows two fur seals, a grown up mother and a small pup. The mother is looking searchingly and warningly towards the photographer. The pup is looking curious in the same general direction. The seals are in shades of brown fur from light to dark, with some black and white details for the mother, and mostly darker brown for the pup. They both have very visible whiskers. I just put 4x AA batteries in and fired it and that bent-out shutter blade snapped and pinged across the floor - about a fifth of it remains inside, shards where it snapped

It might actually just conceivably work as is, though, I'll have to try it but I'm not geared up to put a test roll through at the moment

I do have some dodgy HP5 bulk roll in my bulk loader so I can wind off a few frames into a canister to test, and I’ve got some recent (ie 12 years ago) Rodinal (replacement rodinal not real obv) and maybe fixer so I could probably rustle up a test run but not now #Nikon #F4 #camera

This afternoon I found my old Nikon F4 body in the attic underneath a Panasonic DAT deck – when I lifted up the DAT deck because the front was getting slightly scratched by a toolbox next to it, I found a bag with negs and slides in, and my F4 body, which I was absolutely sure I threw out years ago. because the shutter got buggered

looking into the lens mount, the shutter is visible but the topmost blade is bent out of true, poking out into the shutter box instead of being flat against the other shutter blades – it's been like this for years now so is probably permanently bent into this shape

i think i found out why my throat hurts sometimes when i do a fem voice for awhile i am litterally hitting the maximum high pitch a human can produce, hitting above #f4 which uhh likely not good lol.

now its sorta a weird mix where i can do a high pitched voice, a masc voice but i cannot easily hit the tones between the two whopsies

Goodness. When #DanSlott's #FantasticFour amazing run ended, I braced for a mediocre to fine run by the new team. But that was very not the case. I- am- still blown away by this current team 9 ish's in. #RyanNorth knows these chars, and does amazing things with their powers. And #IvanFiorelli's art executes that on-point. And one hell of a show of science heroism, and #scifi.
