Some tulips today. Purple, red, pink, and yellow. Negrita, Compost heap, Affaire, and Van Ness.

The first bugleherb, Ajuga reptans. ;) They only grow in the lawn but have spread around a bit from the mower I suspect.

The leaves are a bit fuzzy and reddish and there are some furry bits in there too near the main stem. The whole thing is only a few inches tall.

The purple Negrita tulip has some blue in it.

The first lilacs starting to bloom. Saw some bees and wasps in them. It's a few days later than last year.

Shady tulips.

A photo showing a tulip bed before they are in full sun. There is a mix of newly open tulips and ones past their prime that haven't been removed. There are yellow ones on the left, some orange next to them, some orange and yellow ones in the lower right with red ones beyond them, and white and pink ones in the distance. They are surrounded by a short fence to protect from free ranging birds. There are hazelnuts, walnut, poplar, willow, and other trees in the background up high. Lawn surrounds the flowers and it has dandelions in it blooming.

Hyacinths today. There are Aida (blue), Amsterdam (pink), Apricot Passion (peach), and Royal Navy Double (navy). No Yellowstone (yellow) blooming yet.

The Grape Hyacinth is looking good but I don't think much of the flowers are open. Saw Bombus Huntii inspecting it but she flew off.

The negrita tulips are starting to open and evade accurate color capture. It's purple.
