Anybody have any idea what kind of (I’m guessing) finch this is? House finches are reddish while this bird is orange. Plus those pink feet. Never seen feet like that on an outside bird. #Birds #BirdCamera #Finches #BirdID

I regularly fill this pebble filled water bowl, and was wondering whether the birds use it. This morning I saw these goldfinches. Question answered, the top-ups will continue. #birds #backyardbirds #goldfinch #finches #wildlife
Bird on a Ledge
This morning, a striking male goldfinch (Spinus tristis) appeared, perched gracefully on the arm of a feeder designed to resemble a porch swing.
Step into a world where even the smallest moments—like the glint in a bird's eye—tell their own story.

Now that the temperature is well above freezing, the bluebird flock has dispersed. But we still have the finches. #birds #birding #birdwatching #birdphotography #wildlife #wildlifephotography #photography #nature #naturephotography #HoosierMast #finches

I Told You We Should Have Left Earlier
This pair of house finches (Haemorhous mexicanus) appear to be interacting. It seems all the spots at the bird feeder might be taken.

Travel all the way to Scottsdale, Arizona and still find house finches in the back yard. Not complaining though - they’re actually great to photograph, especially when they’re performing acrobatics on a thin twig to get at the food they want.
I though the #Goldfinches had moved on, but they were just angry about the change in menu. I caught them eating suet today, and realized that I had been putting out seeds with shells, which they don't like.
EDIT: These are pine warblers, not goldfinches.
