Not sure why this rabbit insists on sitting right on the bare patch where I’m trying to grow grass the soft grass would be more comfortable

With the freshly sharpened blade, I went about making some grass cry.
Mostly to get mulchings to pour onto the bald spots from the mud party last spring. Uncovered earth just dries out too fast.
This is our designated mowing area for now, the rest can grow. Hopefully we can think of something more useful to plant other than grass at some point.
The area on the road side will be all trees and a little path through them.
I am drunk on the beauty of #dandelions. THIS is the #perfectLawn! I practise #lazyGardening = let animal #gardeners work and sit beside

And everything is #eatable! As salad, vegetable, caper substitution, flower honey, flower liqueur ...

Personally I'm never going to understand people who get mega pressed about their grass lawns. Grass lawns are pretty worthless for pollinators and the environment, waste water, aren't aesthetically pleasing, and trigger hella allergies. Rip it out and put something better in. And put a sign up if you're that butthurt about people going in it. #Grass #Lawn #PeopleAreWeird
Cutting the lawn for the first time this year.
All over neighbourhood lawnmowers and trimmers are singing the most beautiful spring song
I'm in heaven

I somehow doubt there were any battery powered ones in Britain at the time!
(But, apparently there was this in the US...)

This happens to a "lawn" if you let grass develop friendships with wild herbs. After a meadow of snowdrops now the change to white and purple scented violets, Ficaria verna and much more. Daisies, buttercups, and dandelions will follow later in April. A paradise for wild bees and insects. Naturepark #VosgesDuNord in eastern France.
I'm so jealous of all the videos I see of dads manicuring their lawns already.
I just want to get out there and rake and over-seed and fertilize my precious lawn. Make cute little lawn stripes and then judge my neighbors for their brown, weed-infested grass.
BUT I still have piles of snow on my lawn that haven't melted away yet!
Quanto mais relvado, menos diversidade! Transforme o seu jardim num paraíso para polinizadores, plante espécies diversas e floridas, de preferência autóctones ou comestíveis.
#alttext: Jardim florido - muitos insetos, borboletas, abelhas, libélulas, joaninhas, grilos, e muitos outros; relvado e algumas flores - borboletas, mosquitos, moscas, vespas; só relvado - moscas e mosquitos.

I’m really glad Resource Central is offering these. If you're looking for ways to have a more healthy property that isn't turf grass. CHeck it out.
They've also got lots of non-lawn seminars.

The backyard lawn, which had been damaged by the dry fall weather and my son’s activities, is coming back, even in mid-winter Likely, thanks to the recent rains
