They survived ASL 1. The strong ones, the fast ones, the ones who kept up while others drowned. But ASL 2? Whole different beast. No more easy drills. No more spoon feeding. I enjoy calligraphy because it is a type of meditation for me. I am part of a typology community that puts out a weekly glyph challenge where a person is encouraged to be creative with it and it still be recognizable. This week is the Arabic letter ج [d͡ʒim]. This is what I submitted.
